Restaurants hit
Four bombs have gone off ; in Kabul restaurants causing i many casualties, said West- i ern diplomatic sources. Wit- ; nesses were quoted as saying that the bombs went off in quick succession in a high rent area of central Kabul. Two of the bombs exploded in the same restaurant. The ! blasts appeared to be the work of rebels fighting the Soviet-backed Government of Babrak Karmal.—lslamabad.
