Wednesday, November 17, 9 a.m. Shops open for business. 9.30 a.m. Murray Inglis from 3ZM will be going from
CENTRE
store to store introducing the retailers to the public. Triangle Centre girls will be giving out carnations to customers. Entry forms are available in all Triangle stores for two competitions, for which the prizes are a microwave oven and a Ford Laser Hatchback. The prizewinners will be drawn on November 20, by Rodney Bryant. Thursday, November 18 — the official opening of the Triangle Centre. A plaque will be unveiled by the mayor, Sir Hamish Hay, to commemorate the occasion.
