University Vacancies University Vacancies MASSEY UNIVERSITY PALMERSTON NORTH DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS STUDIES JUNIOR LECTURER/LECTURER POSITIONS APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED from suitably qualified persons for junior lecturer or lectureship positions in the following disciplines: INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS Applicants should have a career record in the teaching of industrial relations with particular stress on the New Zealand system. It is anticipated that the appointee will have skills in the curriculum design and teaching methodologies in the inter-disciplinary areas of industrial relations with specific emphasis on audio visual teaching practice. The post will involve extensive'teaching and administration at the undergraduate-level as well as development work in the pcst-experlence area of departmental activities, both internally and extramurally. BUSINESS INFORMATION SYSTEMS Applicants should have experience in lecturing, programming (Basic.and Cobol preferred), and in the tuition of sm&U groups of undergraduate students. . The person appointed will also be involved in teaching and research within the field of the application of computer technology to the solution of business problems. The teaching programme is supported by the business computer systems research centre, which operates a Burroughs-Bl 855 computer, which runs Line systems. Practical experience and the ability to work with small groups on management development programmes is also required.
