The work involves installation and maintenance of control. protection and metering equipment associated with the generation and distribution of electrical power in the Wairakei area. The work is interesting and challenging and our technicians gain valuable experience on a very wide range of equipment. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: E.T.C. or equivalent N.Z.C.E. 3 year certificate, or City and Guilds Electrical Engineering practice, and experience in one or more of the following: — Heavy power plant and associated equipment — Metering and protection — Supervisory or remote control and electronic equipment Switchgear Starting salary will be paid commensurate with experience and qualifications and prospects for advancement are excellent.
