Chemby on line
The directors of Chemby Industries, Ltd, announce an unaudited group net profit for the six months ended September 30, of $556,000, after providing $396,000 for' tax and minority interests of $183,000 on total sales of $23,647,000. This compares, with an after-tax profit of $551,000 on sales of $21,116,000 for the . first six months of the preceding year. The directors comment that these results are in accord with budget, and that although they see no reason to alter their expectation of $1.2 million after tax profit for the full year to March 31, 1983, as outlined in the company’s prospectus, the deteriorating economic conditions in the country are making its achievement more difficult.
