Just A Rebel in big spring cups
Just A Rebel, the winner of three races this season for Mr David Clarkson, of Christchurch, and his Riccarton trainer, Dave Kerr, was the lone entry received by the Canterbury Jockey Club When nominations for the Caulfield and Melbourne Cups closed yesterday. The Riccarton-trained four-year-old has been entered for both of the major spring cups in Victoria. Entries from other New Zealand centres were — OTAGO Melbourne Cup: Kade.
