Soldiers kidnapped
A Leftist group which broke away from the Regular Lebanese Army has kidnapped 45 soldiers and security men. Security sources said followers of the Lebanese Arab Army leader, Ahmed Khatib seized their after setting up roadblocks in largely Muslim West' Beirut and on the road to Sidon. The sources said the kidnappings were in retaliation for the arrest of two men at Beirut airport who werfr-earrying forged passports. —-Beirut.
