Three walk out of bush
PA Auckland Two boys and a'man who were reported overdue from a hunting trip in the Ureweras were found just as a search was being organised yesterday. An Iroquois helicopter was diverted from the rescue mission on the Motu River to pick up Mr Kevin Hapi, aged 33. of Rotorua, his 10-year-old son, Waaka, and Michael Te Kaawa. aged 13.
They were tiown to Murupara where a doctor treated them.
Search and rescue officials were alerted on Sunday night when it was reported that the three had not reported out of the bush on schedule. A search party was about to go in to the Ureweras yesterday morning when the three emerged.
