N.Z. wrestlers named
NZPA Brisbane Two brothers from New Zealand have been named in Australia's two wrestling squads for the Brisbane Commonwealth Games. The wrestling competition director for the Games, Hugh Williams, said Commonwealth Games rules allowed athletes to compete for another nation after representing their native country. Mr Williams said he would help the brothers take out Australian citizenship. He said Murray was one of Australia's oustanding medal prospects in a team which he rated the “best ever." tingent of 16 look two gold medals in the national wrestling championships at Brisbane's Chandler complex on Sunday. Stephen Reinsfield won the 52 kg class, and his brother Ken won the 74kg class. New South Wales with 24 points was the top senior side at the championships while Victoria, with several Commonwealth Games contenders among its team, was second on 19 points, and Queensland third on 16. Murray Avery competing for Queensland in the 100 kg won his division with a 53 second pin.
