S. Tube to pay 9c
Steel and Tube Holdings, Ltd, which on Tuesday announced a profit of $4.3M for the six months to September 30 — almost three times as much as the profit earned in the same period a year earlier — has increased its interim dividend to 9 per cent from 8 per cent last year. The total paid last year was 18 per cent. The interim will be tax-free and payable December 16. ex December 4.
