Decrease in jobless of 1300
PA Wellington The number of registered unemployed dropped by almost 1300 in the fortnight to November 13, said the Social Welfare Departments yesterday.
On that date there were 30,855 people on the dole, compared with 32,152 on October 30. The mid-November total included 4358 males and 5130 females under the age of 20, said the department. On October 30 there were 4561 males and 5256 females under 20 registered jobless.
