The Coalition Against The Tour has rejected .a suggestion by the ; Race Relations Conciliator (Mr Hiwi Tauroa) that a denial of facilities to the Springbok rugby team is in breach pi the Race Relations Act. ; . ; In a statement. the. coalition’said that services, were Only to be denied the Springboks, and: hot all nationals of South Africa. . “If' New Zealanders were to deny facilities to members of the Ku, Klux Kian • that could not be construed as a selective: refusal , against all the United’ -States of America” the, statement said.-' • The Klan, like the Springboks, was not protected by the Race Relations Act, said the statement.
