Pigeon classic results

A bird owned by Mr V. Robinson (Hastings) and handled by Robbie Lindsay won the' annual Bob Charles Classic pigeon race for the second successive year last Saturday. More than 200 owners from throughout New Zealand entered 879 birds in the race. Birds were released from Levin and the winner reached Christchurch 4 hours 13 minutes later.
