# Company Manager MAKE THINGS HAPPEN EXECUTIVE Pearson, Knowles & Rylands Bros. (NZ) Ltd Auckland This is a job with a difference in a company with a difference. Whilst the products (nails, staples, wire, welded steel fabric etc.) are perhaps "low profile" in some respects, they are diverse and offer considerable scope for new applications and introduction of imaginative marketing ideas. The job has become vacant because of restructuring within the parent group. Despite the well structured nature of the group its company managers are allowed expression of individual style and considerable autonomy, within basic guidelines, as evidenced by our client who is somewhat unconventional but highly opportunistic, businesslike and energetic . . . a workaholic'who blends go-getting flair with plenty of analytical homework and disciplined planning. A similar body is sought now. a 30-45 yearold leader with a really good track record in a manufacturing enterprise and with the potential to warrant further advancement in about three years. The right manager will be motivated to apply more by the unusual challenge and scope available than by remuneration. At the same time, the salary, car and benefits package will be more than satisfactory and in no way' a bar to engaging "Mr Right". Incidentally, the company has 90 employees, a well above average growth record with excellent profitability, annual sales now about $lO million. Its plant is modern, as also are its management practices. It is a recent Export Award winner. Suitable training and induction will be provided. We urge you to investigate this opportunity. We honour to the letter the undertaking which follows. SECURITY: No information disclosed nor enquiries made without your permission.
