Two-year-old trotters
The executive of the Trotting Conference has amended the handicapping system to provide for twq-year-old trotters to be handicapped in the same way as three-year-old trotters. Two-year-old trotters will now race penalty-free in events carrying stakes of less than $2OOO. They will be penalised for the first win they receive m a race carrying a stake of more than $2OOO, and then receive a penalty for every second win afterwards.
