PA Hamilton Swift Mel lay, a winniog sister to the former file South Island Smart Mellay and Lady Malay, fetched the top price If $26,000 at Dalgety Bloog stock’s weanling and thoroughbred sale in Ham< ilton, last Thursday. A rising ten-year-old, Swift Mellay, by Mellay, from Smartly, by Theseus, was offered in the broodmare section and she carried a positive pregnancy test to Moss Trooper. She was one of several lots put up for sale on account of the Karamii L and Co., Ltd., Cambridge, and purchased by Mr S. J. Taylor, of Cambridge. Other notable sales in the
