Computer Consultants. Ltd. intends to make a cash issue at a premium soon, after group net profit more than doubled in the year ended March 31. The directors announced that audited profit rose from $258,000 to $619,000, after providing $lOO,OOO more for tax at $512,000.
Group revenue rose 39 per cent to $15,920,000 during the year.
The directors comment that the significant improvement in profit after tax for the year is not attributable to any one event, but rather to an improved trading performance by all divisions together with profit contributions from companies aquired during the year, namely Fourth Estate Holdings, Ltd (9 months) and Computer Installations Development (Australia) Proprietary. Ltd (2 months).
