Y.W.C.A. convention
The Young Women's Christian Association begins its week-long eighteenth Quadrennial Convention in Christchurch today. Delegates from all parts of > New Zealand will set the, blueprint for Y.W.C.A. activities over the next four years,' including youth participation, world co-operation, and pub- ! lie involvement.
- The general secretary of the World Y.W.C.A., Miss Erica Brodie, and the national general secretary of the Australian association, ~ Ms Wendy Rose, will attend the convention.
The convention will be held at the Girl Guide Headquarters in Armagh Street.
