Ministers to speak in Chch
Parliamentary reporter Several Cabinet Ministers will speak in Christchurch this week. the Minister of Labour (Mr Bolger) will address the Christchurch Rotary Club today on unemployment, job training, and small business, and visit the Islington freezing works and the Air New Zealand workshops. The last two functions are part of the launching of the campaign of the National candidate for Yaldhurst, Mrs M. E. Murray.
The Associate Minister of Finance (Mr Cooper) and the Minister of National Development (Mr Birch) will address a “growth opportunities workshop” at Mona Vale tomorrow. The workshops are organised in the four main centres to explain and answer questions on the Government's economic development plans.
On Thursday, the Minister of Trade and Industry (Mr Adams-Schneider) will give the opening address at the annual conference of New Zealand Engine Reconditioners, and on Monday the Under-Secretary for Agriculture (Mr Talbot) will speak at the Noxious Plants Officers’ national conference.
