Suspicious fire
Fire safety officers are investigating a blaze which broke out in a house in Wilton Crescent, Harewood, yesterday, soon after 1 p.m. Fire engines from Harewood and St Albans attended the’ fire which severly damaged the house.
About the same time a house in Selwyn Street, Addington. was moderately damaged by a fire which started at the rear of the premises. Fire engines from Spreydon and Headquarters were called to the blaze.
Earlier a storage cabinet in a shopping complex under construction in Queenspark Drive caught fire and two engines from New Brighton and one from St Albans' attended.
