Opening of Parliament
Parliamentary reporter The State opening of Parliament will be on May 28. This is a little later than usual, but generally in line with recent practice in an election year and for the first time in several years does not- clash with the annual conference of the Labour Party. The Address-in-Reply will be moved on June 2 by the Government member for Horowhenua (Mr G. W. F. Thompson) and seconded by the Government member for Hunua (Mr W. R. Peters)
