Two accountancy firms merge
The two Auckland accountancy practices of Cox Arcus and Company, and Kendons (formerly Ke'ndon Mills Muldoon and Browne), will merge on July 1. The new organisation will be known as Kendon Cox and
Company. The partners say that the new firm with its enlarged resources will be in a strong position to maintain and develop specialised services in auditing, finance, taxation, and related areas. In Christchurch, Cox Arcus and Company has been represented by Quirk Neale and Company, and Kendons has practised under its own name. The new firm will continue
the Cox Arcus and Company representation in New Zealand of KMG (Klynveld Main Goerdeler). KMG is one of the world's largest international groupings of independent national accounting practices.
