) Merino wool sold to 415 c a k gram for four bales of fine woolly hogget from the estate G. C. Urquhart (Cass), which had another six bales of hogget wool at 408 c and five bales of extra fme hogget which made 401 c. Six bales of Merino from G. N. Dalzell (Culverden) also sold for 405 c. J. Morris (Methven) obtained 399 c for four bales and sales at 398 c were made by J. R. Todhunter and Sons (Rakaia Gorge) for four bales and by the estate G. C. Urquhart for four bales of extra fine woolly hogget. For quarterbred wool J. Morris (Methven) also realised 360 c for four bales and 350 c for five bales. Three bales of fine woolly Halfbred hogget in the bins of the New Zealand Farmers’ Cooperative Association realised 306 c and four bales of extra fine wool in the bins of Dalgety New Zealand, Ltd, brought 302 c. Four bales of fine hogget wool from G. L. B. Burnett (Oxford) sold for 300 c and the same vendor had five bales of medium hogget which realised 286 c. Wilson Brothers (Waiau) also received 298 c for eight bales of fine Halfbred.
Seven bales of Polwarth shorn hogget wool from I. R. Hamilton (Omihi) realised 307 c.
Extra fine Corriedale wool brought to 296 c for six bales from M. M. Shield (Blenheim). A sale of six bales of fine Corried. ale was also made at 291 c. Braburn Pastures (Amberley) also had seven bales of extra fine wool which realised 285 c and eight bales of fine wool which sold for 276 c. Crossbred wool made to 286 c for 16 bales from A. D. Locker (Hororata). W. Reverley and Son (Ashburton) also had 10 bales of Romney two-tooth wool which fetched 284 c. D. R. Wright (Parnassus) received 279 c for five bales of fine crossbred and for 14 bales of fine crossbred W. H. Cederman (Oxford) was paid 278 c. Perendale wool made to 288 c for seven bales of shorn hogget wool from T. A. and J. M. Adams (Sheffield). A. G. and M. Young (Rai Valley) also had five bales of woolly hogget at 281 c Nine bales of shorn Coopworth hogget from W. M. Scoilay, Ltd (Blenheim) realised 273 c and 13 bales of Coopworth wool from
