Help for couple
.The German couple whose money .and air tickets were stolen from . New Brighton beach on Monday left for Picton yesterday on money provided by well-wishers. f - Dr Wolfgang Kock and Miss Ann elies Mol had been stranded -.in ; Christchurch with no way to get. to Wellington and the help of-the German Embassy there. The, couple had been put tip by a Christchurch police-
man after they had made a complaint about the theft of Dr Kock’s wallet, which contained their travellers’ cheques, cash, passports, visas, and airline tickets home.
They received numerous offers of help. from Christchurch residents after a report in “The Press” yesterday which described their plight.-
