Cup winner’s plans uncertain
PA Wellington In 1971 Eric Temperton won the Melbourne Cup with Silver Knight. This November, 10 years later, Tem-
merton has his sights set firmly on the race with, his grand stayer, Koiro Trelay. Temperton also produced Magnifiquie to run second in the race and now it’s Korio Trelay’s turn. .
The Awapuni trainer, says that the big two-miler . was top priority for Koiro Trelay. Korio Trelay suffered a cut in the Wellington Cup, but according to his trainer, he has made • fine progress since.
