7 North Shore detectives are investigating the reported abduction of two girl hitchhikers.- One of the girls, aged 13,. told the police she/had been indecently assaulted by the driver of a station waggon who had picked them.up in Takapuna on Saturday.: ? 1 The police said -that, the assault victim and her girlfriend, aged “15, had wanted to be dropped off at a shopping centre but when they had asked to be let out the driver had driven faster. He had taken them to the Southern Motorway.
