Pen-pistols found
NZPA-Reuter Madrid Spanish police have raided a clandestine arms factory near Madrid and seized 1771 pistols disguised as fountain pens, with parts to make 3000 more, the State Security Director (Mr Luis Alberto Salazar Simpson), has told the Spanish Parliament. A police statement said the .22-calibre weapons, in perfect working order, had
been ordered by a man for sale to Right-wing extremists in Spain, to former agents of the disbanded Portuguese secret police, and in unspecified foreign countries.
The man was detained, together with the owner of the workshop where the weapons were made, near Fuenlabrada, 20km south of Madrid.
