Heathrow typhoid scare

NZPA London Britain’s health authorities are trying to locate thousands 'of airline passengers after a typhoid scare at the huge Heathrow Airport. Catering facilities at one of the airport’s three termin* als have been closed for three days after a girl who worked in the terminal’s cafeteria became ill with typhoid. The Department of Health has asked anyone who ate or drank at the terminal during the first two weeks of February to see a doctor.

Situated in west London, Heathrow is the world’s busiest international airport but the disease scare centres on Terminal One, the terminal which handles only British Airways flights on domestic and short-haul routes within Britain and western Europe.
