Councillor resigns

The Waimairi County Council will make an appointment soon to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Cr I. G. Lyons, of the Fendalton riding. Cr Lyons has resigned because he has bought a house within the boundaries of Christchurch City. He was sorry -io have to resign from the council, he said.
