Born of an Austrian family, Michael Grube started violin lessons at the age of four. Both his parents are musicians and Michael first studied with his father, Professor Max L. Grube before commencing studies with some of the foremost violinists of our time. After graduating with distinction, Michael Grube gave concerts around the world, playing with leading orchestras, giving recitals with piano and winning several prizes. In 1977 he was awarded a coveted Italian diploma, and in 1978 a Mexican degree and Portuguese cer-
