Loveridge who ran diagonal-; ly from mid-field for his! right corner. While the defence watched Bernie Fraser, Loveridge flicked a pass to Stu Wilson and he scored in the corner. Richard Wilson’s conversion attempt went to the left. The All Blacks won the ruck and Mark Donaldson (who had replaced Loveridge after 28min) fired a pass back to Eddie Dunn, who was poised for a drop-goal. But Dunn dropped the ball, recovered and ran, gliding for a try mid-way between touch and the goal posts. Wilson convertied N.Z. 20, Scotland 6.
