Mr N. W. cants interviewed on a short list, Mr Drain started his working life as an apprentice in the department. He will start his new post at an annual salary of $18,742. From 1954 to 1967, he was self-employed in private practice, then returned to the council as landscape architect. He later became Assistant Director of Reserves, in charge of parks.
