Tkp Voice of the Islamic Republic Radio said the Ayatollah was addyissing a group of new ambassadors about to represent the revolutionary regime abroad. “The United States, Eastern, and Western countries are turning human beings into animals and pushing civilisation to savagery,” he was quoted as saying. The unofficial Head of State also ordered the envoys, who called on him in the holy city of Qom, to islamicise Iranian embassies abroad and warned them not to give expensive parties.—Teheran.
