NZPA«Reuter London While New Zealand struggled against England at the Oval, its former test captain, Glenn Turner, scored a brilliant century for Worcestershire against Surrey in the English county cricket championship at Worcester yesterday.

Turner, made 150 in 192 min, with 26 fours and a six. He shared an opening stand of 254 with Jeff Orm rod, who went on to make 173, and Worcestershire piled up a first-in-nings score of 438 for seven. Surrey replied with 23 for one.
