Anakiwa warden chosen
Mr Kenneth Ross, a teacher at Freyberg High School, Palmerston North, has been appointed warden of the Cobham Outward Bound School at Anakiwa. Mr Ross will take over the post from Dr M. .1. Mitchell in January. He will have a preliminary term as warden-designate from August to January. During . that time he will visit overseas Outward Bound schools and attend courses at Anakiwa and the Outward Bound Trust headquarters in Wellington. Mr Ross has been teaching for five years. He has wide experience in tramping, climbing, coaching, and skin-diving. He holds a Mountain Leadership Certificate.
