Drainage contract
March Construction, Ltd, has been awarded a $629,975 Christchurch Drainage Board contract to build the second section of Wilderness Drain piping from Barrington i Street to the Heathcote I River. The company submitted [the lowest of six tenders, which ranged to $842,000. Contracts have also been awarded for two lengths of piping yet to be completed on the Dudley Creek diversion project’s first section in . northern Christchurch. British Pavements (Canter-1 bury), Ltd. will build one! length for $171,930 — the lowest of three tenders, ranging to $251,774 — and C. L. Cox, Ltd, will build the ■ second length for $49,174.
