Motor-cycling racer dies
Rotorua One of the most promising Bay of Plentv racing motor-cyclists. Robert Stanley “Stan” Graham, was killed in an accident Bkm from Whakatane on State Highway No. 2 on Tuesday night. The 21-vear-old Whakatane millhand qualified for the finals of the New Zealand moto-cross last season but only took part in one race. He was runner-up in the New Zealand beach-racing series and third in the North Island section
At the time of the accident Graham was riding his 650 cu cm Kawasaki, which he normally used in production road races.
