fair, with varying cloud about the Sounds, otherwise fine. Buller, Westland: Cloudy, light rain or drizzle and moderate westerlies; a change to cooler southwesterlies is likely in the south this afternoon, showers on the West Coast, fair elsewhere. Outlook: fine in Canterbury, accompanied by a period of rain.
