Changes at Atlas
Atlas Majestic Industries, Ltd, reports that, after the recent successful take-over of Bell Radio and Television Holdings, Ltd, Mr A. S. P. Bell, and Mr G. H. Stringer have been invited to join the A.M.I. board. . It has also been decided to separate the roles of the chairman and managingdirector and accordingly Mr C. A. Pearson has relin-1 quished the position of man-
aging-director but he remains as chairman of the board. Mr J. Roy, A.M.l’s fin-ance-director for the past seven years, has been appointed managing-director, and chief executive of the enlarged group. Mr W. Wilson, chartered accountant of Auckland, has accepted appointment as financial advisor to the board. These changes, and others , which will result from the merger with Bell, will ensure the earliest consoli- ; dation of the combined and larger company, the directors say.
