New yachting speed record
NZPA London A British yachtsman, Tim Colman, beat his own world record navigation speed record when he hit 33.4 knots in Portland Harbour, Dorset, on the south coast of England, in his yacht Crossbow 2 on Tuesday. Colmen's previous record, set last year, was 31.8 knots. Crossbow 2 is a candidate in the heats for the world navigation speed competition.
