Revie suspended

NZPA-Reuter London Don Revie, the former England team manager who quit in July to become soccer supremo of the United Arab Emirates, has been suspended by the English Football Association. The F.A. said the suspension, from any involvement with football under the jurisdiction of the Football Association, would stay in force until Revie appeared before the association to answer a charge of bringing the game into disrepute.

Yachting.—No challenge had been received for the 1980 America’s Cup, the secretary of the America's Cup Committee, Commander Henry Anderson, said at Newport. He denied reports that West Germany and Japan had issued challenges immediately after Courageous had beaten Australia.
