A total of 299,900 shares was traded on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday, including 15,000 special sales. The total was 175,700 fewer than Tuesday. Industrial shares totalled 297,700 (466,500 on Tuesday), and 2200 mining and oil shares were traded (9100 on Tuesday). A total of 116 issues was traded.
