Wool pile grows
PA Wellington The Wool Marketing Corporation’s stockpile stood at 124.630 bales at August 31, according to the corporation’s news sheet.
The opening stock at July 1 stood at 103,801 bales. Since then the corporation has bought 187 bales in the United Kingdom, 7444 bales under the extra choice scheme, and 19,031 otherwise.
Sales were 5831. Two bales were lost in scouring.
