More clubs seek liquor licences

Applications for ancillarj liquor licences from nint bowling clubs, a power boat mg club, a rugby club, ant three golf clubs were heart by the Licensing Contro Commission in Christchurch yesterday. Decisions on al! applications were reserved by the commission, Messrs J. R. P Horn, S.M., (chairman), R. S. Austin, and F. W. Pringle. In addition to standard hours and provisions for special days, the New BrighIton Bowling Club wanted drinking from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on winter days when tndoor bowls were played.
