Ski contest delayed
• PA Mount Ruapehu No training for the New Zealand ski championships was possible again yesterday at Mount Ruapehu. Falling snow and rain and poor visibility prevented any work lon the downhill course.
’ It is still hoped to hold [the downhill tomorrow pro[vided that training can be [comnleted today.
’ Alternatively, a second giant-slalom race could be [run tomorrow to allow the I national championships to [be decided on three events. [Otherwise, only the two events held so far will count.
