CSR raising more debenture funds

CSR, Ltd, will make a private placement of debenture stock, and it will also make issue of debenture stock to shareholders and debenture holders of the company who are registered on September 8.

The net funds being raised will replace overseas loans totalling SUS3OM, of which SUS2SM was repaid in Augqst; the balance is to be repaid in September. A private placement of SISM of debenture stock has been arranged with institutions in Australia for settlement on or before September 30. These debentures are for 5 and 7 year terms and carry interest at 11 and 11.25 per cent respectively. Holders of the stock maturing on September 30, are invited to convert to a new issue.

The amount of the public issue will be SIOM, with right to accept oversubscriptions to the extent of an additional SIOM. The term will be fore two and half years, maturing March 31, 1980 at an interest rate of 10.75 per cent p.a., or for 5 years at an interest rate of 11 per cent, or for 7 years at an interest rate of 11.25 per cent. Conversion applications will be accepted until

September 23 the cash component of the issue will re main on offer until Novembei 30, unless filled earlier.
