Reports of more sales overseas
Television One reports that it has sold “The God Boy,” the drama based on the novel by lan Cross, and Broadcasting Corporation chairman, to Finland, Denmark, Belgium, and Australia. In Britain, it will be shown by Thames Television, Grenada, and Scottish Television. Three of the documentaries in the “Challenge” series — “Death Valley,” “Mount Jannu” and “Yesterday’s Gold,” have been sold to both Japan and the Eastern Education Network, the largest network of the American Public Broadcasting System.
Television channels in Malaysia and Hong Kong have bought “Ready to Roll,” and, strangely, the 1976 and 1977 series of “Top Town” have been bought by Taiwanese Television.
