Pakistan’s new military Government is reported to have completed an investigation into the affairs of the Federal Security Force, which is alleged to have persecuted political opponents during the administration of the deposed Prime Minister, Mr Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. The para-military F.S.F. is believed to consist of nearly 40,000 men. Interrogation of its chief, Masood Mahmood, disclosed that the F.S.F. had nearly SSM worth of imported torture equipment and devices used for brainwashing, the daily “Nawae Waqt” has reported. — Islamabad.
