Sold to North
Special correspondent Dunedin Sir Troubadour has been sold to a North Island owner and travelled north to the Foxton stable of Bruce Robinson after finishing fourth at Waimate on Saturday.
The winner of the 1975 Southland Guineas and the Riccarton handicap at the New Zealand Cup meeting the same year, Sir Troubadour has recorded seven minor placings this season for Mr Dave Herbert, of Dunedin, including seconds in the Invercargill Gold Cup and Gore Cup, and third in the Waikouaiti Cup.
