Atlas prizes for Fiji touragram
(Specially compiled for "The Press” by
"Gladiator”)
“Gladiator” has compiled this special Touragram to test your knowledge of Fiji; and you need not have been to the islands to get the answers right. Much of the information you will need is in this issue of “Tuesday Travel” — a good reference book should provide the rest. Whitcoulls, Ltd, is donating six copies of Bartholomew’s World Atlas
as prizes to be awarded to the first six correct entries opened from Christchurch and the area beyond. Whitcoulls is the New Zealand distributor of this prestige atlas which will prove of invaluable assistance to touragram devotees. “The Press” will also award copies of the atlas to the best two entries received from schools.
The map printed on the facing page should also assist those whose geography is a little rusty. Answers and winners will be revealed in the July 5 issue of “Tuesday Travel.”
The words are hidden in
the touragram in a random manner and may appear horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. They can be read from left to right or from right to left, and up or down. Some letters may be common to two or more words.
Each word has a corres-
ponding clue. When located. the words should be ringed neatly with a ballpoint pen and listed to correspond with the numbers of the clues. Entries should be addressed to the Travel Editor, P.O. Box 1005, Christchurch.
